Robert Schembri has over 50 years experience in Taekwondo and is still competing in Poomsae, breaking and other technical events. Rob has won many State, National and Masters Championships along with competing in International events

Robert won a Gold medal in the first ever ATA national games in sparring.

Over the years he has filled many roles in Taekwondo, including State Technical Director for Victoria, International Technical Coach for Commonwealth Championships India 2011. And Poomsae Judge Presenter & Trainer for Taekwondo Australia.

Started training over 40 years ago with Rhee International taekwondo where I achieved 1st dan. When I first started training in taekwondo there were few women involved in martial arts. Have trained in WTF style for over 35 years, over the years have participated in state and national competitions in sparring and poomsae.  Have also have been involved as a kyorugi referee and poomsae judge.

When both of her children commenced taekwondo, Nerise decided she may as well join in and train too. Nerise has participated in State and National Poomsae tournaments, as well as being a regular competitor in the PanPac Masters in Queensland.

Terence has trained with Schembri’s for over twenty years. Terence assists on Tuesdays and Thursday in the colour belt classes as well as the black bel classes on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Daniel has trained forever thirty five years. Daniel can be seen Mondays and Wednesdays assisting in the Junior classes.
